I have stayed at 3 hotels over the last week on my way home. This by far was the best of them. Kitchen with full fridge. Most comfortable bed and pillows all week. My only wish is if they served breakfast. And only issue was the trashbags left in the hallway over night. They made the second floor smell like cabbage.

Great hotel! Great service! Great location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the MainStay Suites Roanoke Airport hotel. First impressions are everything! From the minute, we walked through the door, we felt we were amongst family and friends. The front desk staff greeted us with a warm welcome, and Cheri Forrest was extremely helpful in accommodating our request for an early check-in as we have been traveling since the early morning hours to attend a family function later that day. We truly appreciated her welcoming smile and gracious hospitality throughout our stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. The suites are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. It is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants, some within walking distance, and the Valley View mall. We will definitely stay here again!
My husband is originally from Roanoke but we currently reside out of state. We went to visit family. We decided to stay at a hotel as it was a surprise and didn’t want to anyone to fuss over us. I made the reservation on-line so check in was a breeze. The hotel is pet friendly which was a plus for us as we brought our fur baby boy. The room was clean and had pretty much everything we needed. However, the silverware was sparse. There was only one spoon, fork, knife but everything else was in a full set. The hotel is advertised to offer breakfast, which was one of the reasons we chose it. However, there is none provided. They did have a coffee bar but we did not partake in any as my husband tried the coffee that was provided in the room and he said it tasted like cardboard (as most hotel rooms do). Staff was friendly but felt like something was a bit off. Couldn’t really put my finger on it. The location is great as there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, our stay was a pleasant one.
Had a girls weekend and decided to stay here! We loved it. We always felt safe and secure being it was only us three woman. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was top tier, and the staff was attentive and beyond friendly. A lot of good restaurants and shopping close by. Will definitely book again!
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. AC does not cool very well. AC unit is in the seating area. Bedroom has no AC unit. There is a wall fan high up in the wall to pull cold air into the bedroom. Doesn't do a good job. Cold air sinks and does not make it to the fan.
